The Young Farmers Challenge (YFC) is a competitive grant program initiated by the DA to support and empower young Filipinos with innovative agri-fishery ventures. It spans multiple components β from Start-Up and Intercollegiate to Upscale β offering financial grants at the national level, alongside mentorship, development support, market linkages, and exposure. ![]()
Since its launch, the program has supported over 4,300 young farmers nationwide. This year, the national finals brought together 64 finalists nationwide, showcasing how these youth-driven ideas are shaping modern and sustainable agriculture, according to the Philippine News Agency. ![]()
Tying into Agrilink 2025βs theme, “Logistics: The Key to an Efficient Market and Value Chain,” these YFC awardees embody the spirit of value-chain innovation.
