Attend #Agrilink2025 for a seminar on “Increase of Profit from Paddy and Rice During Storage by Management of Temperature.” The seminar is organized by H&E Enterprises, and will be held on October 2, from 3:30 – 5 p.m. at the Amorsolo Room, during the event proper. 🌾❄️

Storing paddy and rice comes with big challenges, with temperature control a critical factor. By managing storage temperature, farmers and millers can:

✅ Preserve grain quality during longer storage

✅ Prevent pest and fungal damage

✅ Reduce spoilage losses

✅ Increase profitability by ensuring higher-value rice at sale

This seminar will highlight grain cooling solutions that make storage safer and more efficient, showing how the right technology extends shelf life while keeping grain in top condition for the market.

The resource speaker is Dr. Claus M. Braunbeck, an agronomist and agricultural engineer with a Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Hohenheim. Claud has projects on rice post-harvest technology at IRRI, Los Baños, and has nearly a decade of experience as product manager in agricultural ventilation technology. Claus is Asia Sales Manager at FrigorTec GmbH, a global leader in grain cooling solutions that assure grain safety worldwide.

In line with Agrilink 2025’s theme, “Logistics: The Key to an Efficient Market and Value Chain,” this seminar underscores how proper storage technology reduces post-harvest losses, strengthens supply chains, and improves profitability for farmers and traders.
