This special session celebrates 30 years of OPTA, highlighting the challenges and opportunities of the Philippine organic industry. Members will share their journeys in shaping organic farming and trade, while also opening discussions on the next wave of growth.
A key part of the seminar will focus on Geographical Indication (GI) products — goods that carry the identity, quality, and tradition of their origin. Participants will learn how GI systems strengthen compliance, raise awareness among consumers, and open pathways for premium markets both locally and internationally. Expect insightful sharing from OPTA members who continue to drive the organic movement forward, blending tradition with innovation for a greener tomorrow. 
In line with #Agrilink 2025’s theme, “Logistics: The Key to an Efficient Market and Value Chain,” the session underscores how GI products and organic systems not only preserve heritage but also strengthen value chains by linking farmers, markets, and communities more efficiently.
