The Department of Agriculture will be discussing its program on rice farming, particularly the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF), which aims to enhance the productivity and competitiveness of our local rice farmers and improve their livelihood by providing farm machinery and equipment, rice seeds, marketing and promotion services, credit assistance, and other extension services. The DA will also report on the milestones the industry has achieved so far, the challenges that need to be addressed, and the opportunities that our rice farmers can tap into.
