What connects farmers faster to buyers, lowers food prices, and strengthens supply chains? Strategic logistics hubs like the one rising soon in Clark.
In a recent move to strengthen the country’s agri value chain, the Department of Agriculture – Philippines and the Department of Transportation (DOTr) are partnering to develop a 47-hectare Clark Food Hub. Designed for centralized storage, processing, and distribution, the hub will give farmers, traders, and buyers better, faster access to markets.
Located near the Subic Seaport, the Subic-Clark Expressway, and Clark International Airport (CRK), Clark’s strategic position will make it a powerhouse link between production zones and consumers. The DA is also looking to replicate this model nationwide to boost productivity, stabilize supply and prices, and raise farmers’ incomes.
At #Agrilink2025, happening this October 2 – 4 at the World Trade Center, Manila, we bring the spotlight to initiatives that are reshaping Philippine agriculture through smarter logistics and infrastructure.
With this year’s theme, “Logistics: The Key to an Efficient Market and Value Chain,” #Agrilink 2025 explores how better transport, storage, handling, and distribution systems are essential — not just to move goods, but to move the entire agri economy forward.
Visitors can expect to discover real-world solutions, from innovations in postharvest handling and cold chain development to models for building stronger market linkages and boosting farmer incomes. This year’s event will gather leaders, innovators, farmers, traders, and policymakers who are driving the future of agriculture through logistics.
